NUMMELA, Vihti, Finland – The much-anticipated East African Gospel Tour has officially arrived in Finland! The team, led by Pr. Samson Bukenya, landed safely on August 3, 2026, marking the beginning of a 10-day musical and spiritual exchange that will culminate in the highly awaited Valofestarit (Valo Festival) on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Nummela town square in Vihti.
The seven-member delegation, representing East African Gospel Music Ministry, was warmly received at the airport by their Finnish hosts, Pastor Timo Kulta and Mrs. Satu Kulta of the Free Church of Vihti and ViaDia Länsi-Uusimaa ry. The team traveled together from Uganda, fully united and ready to share the message of hope and transformation through gospel music.
Speaking shortly after arrival, Pr. Samson Bukenya, team leader
expressed his gratitude and excitement:
"We have arrived safely by the grace of God. It is such
a blessing to step onto Finnish soil with this anointed team. We are carrying a
message of light and transformation to Finland, and we believe that as we lift
our voices together at Valofestarit, walls will come down, and the love of God
will be felt powerfully in Vihti. We thank our hosts, Pastor Timo and Mrs. Satu
Kulta, for their warmth and hospitality."
